A four on four game.

The Game...

A team consists of four players of any gender, skips take position on far end of the ice and direct the shots and calls the sweeping. Players throw two rocks each per end alternating between teams and positions in order. Leads, Seconds, Thirds (or Mates) and lastly Skips.


The Recreational League curls Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 6:45

The Rules...

Games are 6 ends long.

Teams alternate throwing 8 rocks per end.

The "4-rock rule". The first four rocks of an end, if resting in the area between the hog line and the house, (called the Free Guard Zone (FGZ)) cannot be removed from play by the opposing team until after the fourth rock has been delivered.

The Centerline or No-Tick rule also applies. Any stone touching the center line in the Free Guard Zone (FGZ) cannot be moved off that line by the opposition until the sixth stone of the end.
